Welcome to The Jeweller’s Box workshop series. Here you will find my upcoming workshop program for 2026. These workshops are focused on the absolute beginner and those who have previous experience but might want to learn a little more about metalsmithing processes and techniques.
Workshops are conducted upstairs in the SB Libris Bindery centrally located in View Street Bendigo, in the heart of Bendigo’s arts precinct! Participant numbers are restricted to maximum 6 participants to allow for detailed and focused instruction for each student and run from 9:30am to 4pm, with a half hour lunch break.
I have over 15 years teaching experience in the art of jewellery making, from beginner to advanced process and techniques. I guarantee you will walk away with your very own personalized piece of wearable art from each workshop. You will also receive instructional notes, and materials for each project. A full resource of tools for each project will be available for use to each student.

Learn how to create your very own Sterling Silver Ring in this one day workshop with artist Dan Cox. You will be guided through the jewellery making processes of annealing, sizing, texturing, stamping, filing and more! Walking away with your very own custom piece of jewellery handmade by you!

Create your very own bangles in Sterling Silver in this one day workshop. Learn from artist Dan Cox how to measure, anneal, shape and texture your very own stack of bangles, customized by you, for you! Hand make a set of 3 bangles in silver exploring different finishes and textures.

Learn to create a set of 3 stack rings in this one day workshop with artist Dan Cox. Explore how to measure, solder, anneal and form your rings, creating a key feature on one ring. You will learn how to work with different forms of silver wire to make your own masterpiece, tweak your designs to suit your aesthetic, melt and form metal in a fun and relaxed workshop.

Flower Earring Workshop

In this one day workshop, you will be guided by artist Dan Cox on how to create your very own stunning flower earrings using Brass and Silver! Learn techniques such as sawing, filing, soldering, layering and forming to create unique statement earrings that will have everyone saying “WOW”! No experience necessary!
